COVID-19 RESOURCE PAGE


As we return to the field, Pelada FA will be using this page to share policies, resources, and notifications related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

RULES FOR PLAYERS


  • Practice social distancing.
  • Wear a mask when arriving and departing from the field and during any activities in which you may have less than six feet of distance between you and another player.
  • Follow all safety rules and guidelines and support your teammates in following them.
  • Wash hands before and after training.
  • Wash/sanitize your clothes and equipment before and after training.
  • Bring enough water. Water fountains are off limits and bottles cannot be shared!
  • Keep bags, bottles, and personal belongings at least six feet away from those of other players.
  • Don’t touch anything that doesn’t belong to you.
  • Don’t intermingle with players from other groups before, during, or after sessions.
  • No high 5’s, handshakes, group celebrations, or contact with other players.
  • No spitting.
  • Be respectful of your teammates and coaches, especially in any matters relating to post-COVID discomfort or anxiety.

RULES FOR FAMILIES


  • Ensure players are healthy before attending activities. Take temperature 30 minutes prior to start.
  • Notify Pelada FA staff immediately if a player or family member starts to display symptoms or becomes sick.
  • Complete a Pre-Participation Screening no later than 5pm on the day prior to the first day of each camp and/or training week.
  • Complete Contactless Check-In from a mobile device each time you drop off your player.
  • Ensure player's equipment is washed/sanitized before and after training.
  • No carpooling outside of your cohort.
  • Parents should not attend training and should remain in the car when dropping your player off.
  • If attending games, wear masks when moving between the parking lot and the field and maintain distancing protocols at all times.
  • On TRAINING DAYS, drop off at the WEST parking lot and pick up from the EAST parking lot.
  • On GAME DAYS, use the parking lot nearest to your game field (WEST parking lot for games on WEST fields and EAST parking lot for games on NORTH fields).
  • Help us by reviewing and reinforcing these guidelines with your player before attending soccer activities.

PHASE 2 TRAINING & CAMP FORMATS


Camp groups (Cohorts):Limited to 10 or fewer players (the same 10 or fewer players in the group each day). Groups may change no more frequently than once per week.
Team training format:Teams with more than 10 participating players will be divided into two stable groups for June sessions and progress to team-sized groups for July sessions.
Contact activities:Minimal use of controlled contact activities have been approved by the State and OYSA during Phase 2. We plan to introduce contact gradually to our sessions during the month of July.
Camp format:All of our camps this summer will be limited to half days (3 hours per day, M-F) to reduce prolonged exposure between participants and avoid the need for shared water and mealtimes.
